haskell-debian-utils software package provides Various helpers to work with Debian packages, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install haskell-debian-utils
haskell-debian-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the haskell-debian-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep haskell-debian-utils *
You will get with haskell-debian-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
